SummitWynds Design is owned and managed by Amy Parker. SummitWynds Design all came about while designing my own farm's website. It took some time after my first attempt at my website, since I was not at all pleased with the results. My first try at it was much too home-made looking for my business. I wanted something professional, something that would portray my farm in a business-like manner. Several attempts later, I was happy with the results..
And what does SummitWynds stand for?
That is the name of our family farm, Summitwynds Quarter Horses. We show and raise Quarter Horses. Summit coming from the name of our street and for the fact we live on hill where a ski resort once stood and Wynd, for the fact that it sure is windy here, year-round!
How we got started
After selling our retail oil business, I was looking for a new career. It was the perfect opportunity to start the new venture that I was looking for. I wanted to learn more. I wanted my websites to look professional. From there I have read every book I can get my hands on, watched instructional videos and taken courses from top professional web designers in Boston. From web design, we have branched out to print design and printing.

We take great pride in the professional quality of our websites and ads, whether it is a new website or a website that needs to be re-done. We use top software that all professional designers use, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator; to name a few. We are constantly striving to make every website and ad we do look as individual as each business itself. That's what branding is all about!
